HI friends,
Last Friday was Deguang's birthday. And they had some games and races at that time. I saw many students were practicing running on the playground on Wednesday. I'm so excited about I could see them racing with other classes last Friday.
I visit Yuki's house
today. Then, we had dinner together. Their family were really surprise about my
visit. Yuki said that her favorite dish of today was the bitter melon with salty
duck egg. I like the cuttlefish balls. Using chopsticks is difficult for me, so they gave me a spoon to
have the dishes. I'm trying to learn it.
After we finished the
meal, I played and chatted with my new friends Ray and Mac. Ray and Mac are
from America. They have already lived here for several years.
They're favorite movie is Zone Pro Site (master chef).
It is about traditional Taiwanese food culture. It is an interesting movie.
They said that they laughed a lot when they were watching it.
We had sweet potato with Chinese tangyuan (taste of dioscorea opposita) soup together. It tastes sweet. The Chinese tangyuan has two kinds of
color , white and purple. But it both tastes soft and a little bit
Then we had the fruit
. That was our last dish. Do you have ate Persimmon and Shaddock? The fruit in Taiwan is very very famous in Asia, especially Japanese and Chinese like Taiwan's fruit very much. They are so big and sweet. We were almost full, so we just ate a few pieces. Shaddock
is juicy and persimmon is chewy. Autumn is the season of persimmon and shaddock in Taiwan. They're so
delicious.
MISS YOU ALL
